Read the ThanksDoc FAQsMost London visits are attended the same day, often within a few hours. When you call, we confirm the arrival window before you commit to anything.
Monday to Friday 9-6 pm. Same-day visits are subject to doctor availability in your area.
A GMC-registered GP experienced in urgent and general practice care. Home and hotel visits are arranged and delivered under the governance of ThanksDoc, which is registered with the Care Quality Commission for this service.
Yes. Children and infants can be assessed at home, with a parent or guardian present throughout the visit.
Yes. Your doctor can take blood tests during the visit at an additional cost, agreed before you book, and arrange the results with a follow-up.
Yes, where it is clinically appropriate. A private prescription is issued on the visit and can be dispensed at a pharmacy of your choice.
No. Home visits are not an emergency service. If symptoms are severe or life-threatening — chest pain, breathing difficulty, heavy bleeding, stroke symptoms — call 999 or attend your nearest A&E.
